Wayne Ransom Serpent

Specifications

Engine: inline 4 cylinder GSXR 1000

Horsepower: 165hp

Max RPM: 14,000 rpms

The Ransom “Serpent” is a hand-sculpted bike powered by a 165hp inline 4 cylinder GSXR 1000 engine. The aluminum one-piece body is all hand formed from aluminum, with stainless steel exhaust and taillights integrated into the aluminum body. Ransom twisted, shaped and welded the curvy tubular trellis steel frame, leaving it with a rather ambitious 39-degree rake angle and a wheel-base of 68 inches – 13 inches over standard. The clutch and front brake master cylinders are built into handlebars. With only 415lbs dry weight, the bike is extremely quick. Ransom custom-made everything on this bike except the wheels, front suspension, and engine. This build is the epitome of old world craftsmanship blended with advanced technology.

For the past 14 years, Ransom has been hand-crafting one-of-a-kind motorcycles of extreme capability. Utilizing new-technology, fuel-injected, inline 4-cylinders revving to 14,000 rpms and producing a minimum of 165 horsepower. This bike was designed and built this for particular client, whereas the majority of builders build bikes to sell, all of Ransom’s builds are made to order. Which means all bikes are sold as an idea first and then built specifically to the client’s physical measurements.
